I came home from work after a day full of meetings. Frustrated, yet glad to be home, I had my hands full while trying to unlock my car with the key fob. The battery must be getting low, because I tried at least 6 times with no unlocking action. In the middle of my constant attempts, the iPod slipped out of my hand and to the cement. It was in the case from Apple, but that really isn’t a protective case for dropping the iPod. Needless to say, I picked it up and pulled it out of the case to find this:

My wife bought this for me last Christmas, it’s not even a year old yet. The nice part is — everything works without a hitch, but it makes it pretty useless for all of the photos and videos (5G 60GB iPod).

I have found a few resources online, but does anyone know where I can get a screen replacement (kit)?

Let’s hope today is a better day…

    RE: Frank
Yeah, as consolation for my frustration I purchased some new music last night to listen to today at work. No meetings today, I can clear my head and get on track.

Thanks for the info, I might just have to check ebay!

You need to go hit Techrestore.com

They have a $99, overnight, nationwide screen replacement service.... They rock.

No affilliation with them, just found myself in a similar situation not so long ago.....

    Happy Podding!
