She Just Couldn’t Wait

So my wife couldn’t wait until Christmas to give me my present. She made me open it about a week ago. It a new 60GB video iPod. Now, I love Apple and their products, but have never owned an iPod until now. I bought her one last year for Christmas — but it was hers. Now I have one of my own. This thing is great. I have already loaded it with all of my music (3800 songs), all of my pictures (7800), and all of my movies (11) — and I still have 30GB left.

What I love most about the iPod (as with other Apple products) is the simplicity. It is very simple — yet interacts with everything else on my powerbook. My calendars, my contacts, and even text notes that I keep (it even alarms me the same as my computer does for certain events).

Now it’s easy to listen to my music at work where I don’t want to load up my computer with music. Definitely a great Christmas gift!
